About Chattanooga

Chattanooga is the seat of Hamilton County and the 4th largest city in Tennessee after Knoxville, Memphis and Nashville. It is situated in southeastern Tennessee on Nickajack Lake and Chickamauga Lake which are both part of Tennessee River. The city lies about 135 miles to the southeast of Nashville, about 48 miles to the northeast of Birmingham, Alabama and 120 miles to the northwest of Atlanta, Georgia.
