Chattanooga is Tennessee's 4th largest city, following Nashville, Knoxville and Memphis. It is also Hamilton County's seat. It is also called "Scenic City".

Chattanooga is situated along Southeastern Tennessee by the Nickajack Lake and Chickamauga Lake in conjunction to the Tennessee River.
